On 1st January 2009, Sarbaz Baloch spokesman of Baloch Republican Army called different news agencies in Quetta and said that from now on Baloch resistance organizations; Baloch Liberation Army(BLA) Balochistan Liberation Front(BLF) and Baloch Republican Army(BRA) will not abide the unilateral ceasefire which they declared on 1st September 2008.
On 4 January Beeberg Baloch spokesman of Baloch Liberation Army reiterated and confirmed that Baloch resistance organizations(BLA,BLF and BRA) have ended the four month ceasefire, which they declared unilaterally.
Beeberg said; Pakistanis take the ceasefire as our weakness, and during the ceasefire they attacked and martyred scores of Baloch people. He further said that our ceasefire was for Baloch people and we end this ceasefire on the demand of Baloch people.
